Whiskey BBQ Sauce Recipe

Sipping on your favourite whiskey while smoking some BBQ has been a long-standing tradition in the BBQ community so why not bring those two together to make the delicious homemade whiskey BBQ Sauce. This whiskey BBQ Sauce is well balanced and will make a great addition to your perfectly smoked rack of ribs or chicken wings..

Ingredients

 1 cup Ketchup
  cup Brown Sugar
  cup Apple Cider Vinegar
 ¼ cup Molasses
 1 tbsp Yellow Mustard
 ½ tbsp Chili Powder
 ½ tsp Onion Powder
 ½ tsp Garlic Powder
 ¼ tsp Smoked Paprika
 2-3 Oz. Whiskey

First, pour yourself some whiskey and take a sip. Next, combine all the ingredients except the whiskey into a saucepan and mix together well. Next, add in your whiskey to taste. This is likely going to be 2oz-3oz but add as little or as much as you like. Bring the sauce up to a low simmer for a minute then remove from the heat. Cool to room temp before placing it in the fridge.
