Ingredients

 1 lb ground beef
 6 Strips bacon
 4 Slices American Style Cheese
 2 Brioche Buns
 Mayo
 Ketchup
 Salt & Pepper to season

Directions

Step #1
1

To prepare Wendy’s Baconator, begin by forming your burger patties into squares. This is the classic shape for any wendy’s burger. Form them into 1/4 inch thick patties.

Step #2
2

Once your burger patties are formed set up your grill/griddle for cooking around medium heat. Once your griddle is heated, start by toasting your bun followed but cooking your bacon to your preferred doneness. Once the bacon is cooked to your liking, place on the burger patties onto the griddle using the bacon grease to cook them in for added flavour. After 3-4 minutes of cooking flip them and apply your cheese to the top of the burger and continue cooking for another few minutes until the cheese starts to melt. Once that happens, remove them from the heat.

Step #3
3

To build your baconator burger place one burger on top of the bun followed but bacon, another burger, and then more bacon. On your top bun apply some mayo and a bit of ketchup and then crown the top of the burger with it.
